You're confusing high standards for vanity. I'd rather be alone than compromise my principles for a shallow relationship based on fleeting looks and shallow gestures. My worth isn't defined by the size of someone's wallet or their occupation. I prefer substance over superficiality any day. Your insistence on finding a boyfriend who fits your shallow criteria seems more like a reflection of your own low self-esteem. You seem more likely to be the one settling for mediocrity.
