Core software

• If the enabled forum skin's number of colors is 0 or less: changeColor() should return false, colors should not render on a user's settings, and the c (color) class for posts should default to 1. Partially implemented; the rest was deemed redundant.
• If you make a new conversation, make it starred by default
• More robust e-mail verification system. Separate values for manual and e-mail verification. Require verification if a user changes their e-mail.
• Show account creation date on hover if "last active" is "never" on user's profile

Post formatting

• Add checkboxes ([] / [X]) to posts for better todo lists!
• Maximum length of quotes; longer quote may be suffixed with “...” Max-height added to blockquotes!
• An elegant way to disable automatic conversion of URLs (google.com → google.com) and emotes (:) → )

Private conversations

• Bring back Members-only conversations to include Moderators and Administrators; this will be a private convo for all signed-up members.
• Exclamation point in front of username (!user) to exclude them from the conversation.

"Change username" functionality

• Add username timeout for old (taken) names
• Username history on profiles (probably should be a plugin)
• JavaScript to check validity of username, etc.

Plugin ideas

• Field for custom CSS in user settings which applies to that user.
• Custom regular expression to filter posts.

Blocking users

• Hide conversations and posts from blocked users
• Show “you blocked this user” message at the top of blocked user’s profile and their conversations
• Add “block/unblock this user” button to the profile view for other users

• Plugin idea: Embed videos for YouTube, Vimeo, Bitchute, etc.
• Automatically convert video links to embeds.
• User setting to disable embeds from appearing on any posts.

I agree with Schrute. Reactions and updoots are the kind of stupid popularity-contest features that websites for normalfags like Reddit are bound to have.
