After taking everybody's posts into account, I have decided to unban Robert from the server for the following reasons. While it is true that he technically broke the rules, it's also apparent that there has been a double standard for members of the server. Yes, his behavior is morally contemptuous – that being said, the basic purpose of this forum and its outlets is to encourage discussion rather than to hamper it, and the rules do not in fact appeal to any higher moral compass beyond its own standard.

In my eyes, posting or requesting a user's personal information has a far greater capacity to inflict suffering upon that user than to irk them. I cannot justify having banned a person for doing something that I believe to be less harmful than the behaviors of those who remained on the server at that time. Since there is a double standard, that original standard, by my admission, was to ignore the posting of a user's personal information so long as that user was not part of this community, which is wrong. Keeping Robert banned after I have decided to change my standard seems to be unfair, and an example of the kind of inconsistent exercise of authority that occurred on places such as Total Freedom. Authority should be exercised in a uniform manner.

Looks like this place hasn't changed one bit. Constant bickering, and reddit-esque conversations that devolve immediately into flame wars about why X user should be suspended or unsuspended because the userbase does or doesn't like them. I had hoped not to see this again yet here we are.

Except it goes both ways. The admin has made it clear by making this conversation that he is considering unbanning Robert. He can restore access at any time without notice, and revoke yours while he's at it. That's right, I've done some digging and it seems you're an alt of Adolf Hitler, a notorious troll and samefagger known for raiding the forum impersonating a user named Akefu. The terms of you being allowed back here expressly prohibit you from having alts due to your past abuses. I can see your suspension on the horizon, my friend.

I have enough contacts now that they have started just getting me to add their friends. The cancer has taken root.

edit: This is the actual value of being attractive to women. I don't understand why he was banned from the server and not the forum, but it also seems like he was using the server in order to DM randoms, which is annoying.

So if this Robert fellow wants to submit an appeal in which he apologizes for mistakes he may have made in interacting with the forum's community, all the better. I might remind all of you, and inform you newfags, that the old forum was destroyed due to infighting and constant drama of this very same nature. Let's not repeat history. Nobody cares if you don't like a user, but don't go trying to voteban people just because you personally don't like them.

The closest thing I've made to a mistake was being proud of my well bred and well maintained mind and body.
I should have known better than to assume people would give me the praise and reverence I am due.
As this mistake is closer to a stroke of genius than 99% of the people who will read this will ever achieve for at least a dozen generations to come if they ever manage to get their dicks wet or eggs fertilized I will continue to bear the consequences my inferiors insist I deserve.
The greek origin of the word apology means something closer to "defense" rather than an admission of guilt.

Absolutely not. This user has been been proven beyond any shadow of a doubt to be a predator to marginalized groups such as women and children. By allowing him back, you are putting these vulnerable persons at great risk of being exploited and harmed by this out of control pervert. I would advocate for his server ban being extended to the forum because there is absolutely no justification whatsoever for allowing someone like this anywhere near this community. He's a piece of shit who deserves to die and burn in hell for being a pedophile. Anyone who acts as though there is any grounds for him being anything but permbanned is probably also a pedophile.
The real question is what kind of community do you want, John? Do you want a forum full of batshit crazy pedophiles committing illegal activities that will inevitably land you in prison too? Because if you don't keep this user banned from your server, and extend the ban to the forum, I will be contacting the proper law enforcement and authorities and they will take the action that you won't.
