You will want to blacklist certain blocks, like chests and pressure plates, from the WorldEdit plugin. While it may not be possible to crash the server, it is certainly possible (and very easy) to make the server practically unplayable for those who have just spawned in.

You know what was truly scummy? Closing down TF in the first place. You could've moved on with all the drama by simply removing those responsible permanently instead of having a Long-Term Ban system in place. But no, you cut it off short after one of your staff members resigned and "called for action" after a repeat offender kept angering the staff on your server. I'm surprised you guys didn't go the easy way out with TF:R by keeping it the way it was in 2012 instead of having so many confusing policies in place…

people hated ryan for doing the exact same thing that video and co. did.

Yes Cyberbob, the link I've provided is only for Minecraft usage. The server version is 1.8.9, but I've allowed anyone to join from 1.7 to 1.19.2 via FlameCord.

Don't know much about TotalFreedom besides the drama between this forum and theirs. I think it's funny that TF made fun of geteso for the debacle with the raids even though here we are still standing and their server is long gone. Hell, the reboot of their server didn't last very long at all. I say let sleeping dogs lie.

Just a couple hours in and my build has been griefed. I'm not going to complain, though. There seemed to always be a sentiment on the old server that "anarchy is bad" despite using mental gymnastics to explain why "total freedom" doesn't promote anarchy as-is. I remember lots of new players joining what was once the server to ask why there are so many rules, and they were promptly laughed at by the old-timers for being naïve.

I think that, though, a plot world is kind of necessary on a server like this. There should be some recourse against having your build destroyed, but of course, freebuild is and always will be the core element of any server bearing the name Total Freedom.

former TF player here. can you give us the run down as to what happened? do you have a website for this new server?

Unfortunately, too many troons kept angering the new staff, causing them to quit. They too failed to follow Akefu's demands, but I hope to pick this old project of mine back up and to implement a new plugin I've been working on: Total Akefu Death. This new plugin will stop the raiders dead in their tracks as I've enabled map verification and other spam plugins.
