These are all fantastic ideas, and I would be interested to see them rendered into a banner.

You may be right. Nevertheless, the banner is going to stay that way for quite some time, at least until something agreeably superior can take its place. The purpose of this conversation was really just for me to communicate that, if somebody makes their own banner, I will be more than happy to consider it. Power to the community.

I will be accepting submissions for an image banner used in the advertising of this website. The image must be exactly 728x90px (728px horizontal / 90px vertical) in size, though it can be cropped if necessary.

The banner must not contain any profanity, racial/ethnic slurs, or any other language that could be deemed inappropriate. (The word "porn" is fine, for example.)
