Golden Knights look weak in the preseason (not a good measure of success in the actual season and especially playoffs I know), but they should still be a very strong team and are obviously the defending champs.

I think that the Oilers should be considered the frontrunners as long as they have the unstoppable McDavid-Draisaitl duo. Defense isn't quite as unstoppable though.

Bruins are probably the most well-rounded team but they have a history of choking and their window could very well be approaching its end.

Avalanches, Stars and Jets are really the only other teams I could see winning it.

My pick is the Oilers. If not them most likely a Golden Knights repeat.
