You fools did not listen to the instructions! I did not ask for you to type out the type of vegetable that I am thinking of. I can read minds, and so if/when you think of the correct type vegetable I will reward you.
Furthermore, I did not ask for you to guess the particular vegetable, but the type.
The vegetable you are thinking of is a nickel, sometimes mistakenly called a nickle.
