People who criticize Satanism don't really understand what it's all about. It is more or less the lack of any religious convictions and a rebellion against the influence that Christianity has on the West.
I couldn't disagree more. Most people who criticize Satanism are aware that it isn't the literal worship of Baphomet but that doesn't mean it's not stupid. Christianity hasn't really influenced the West for at least 70 years, so most of our modern problems stem from secular governments instead of religious ones.
I'm not a big fan of Christianity but Satanism is dumb.

There is no higher understanding to the Satanic Temple or whatever you want to call it. It's pretty easy to understand, and it derives from the same ignorance of axiomatic truths that most atheists are guilty of.
