I wish Nazis were more public about the Lebensborn program and built up the Aryan race specifically through that program rather than extermination of inferior races.
Making sure the highest quality members of a race had support from the government to breed just makes sense.
It's a social welfare program for people who really do deserve it.
Giving mothers medals for how many children they have is as valid as giving an infantryman a combat medal.
As an individual living in the current era, it is easy to overlook the fact that most people prior to WW2 did not condemn eugenics, but embraced it, rather. The Germans were not ubiquitous in their support and practice of eugenic programs; eugenicists were practicing all throughout Europe, and there were many eugenics programs founded in the Americas at the turn of the 20th century and beyond.
