My Girlfriend Elaine is Overly Dominant, and I'm Feeling Stressed

Hey EsoCock,
I hope you're all doing well. I'm reaching out because I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed in my relationship with my girlfriend, Elaine. We've been together for about a year now, and while I genuinely care about her and appreciate many aspects of our relationship, there's a constant theme of her being overly dominant that I can't seem to shake off.
At first, I thought it was just her strong personality, which I admired. However, it's become clear that she's often making decisions for us without really considering my input or feelings. Whether it’s what we do on weekends, where we eat, or even how we spend our free time, it feels like my opinions don’t matter as much. I find myself going along with her choices just to avoid any conflict, but it’s starting to wear me down.
I've tried to express my feelings to her, but she often reacts defensively, saying that she just wants to take charge and help us have fun. I can see where she's coming from, but I also want to maintain some level of balance in our relationship.
Has anyone else experienced something similar? How did you address the issue? I'm torn because I don’t want to hurt her feelings or make her feel like I’m criticizing her, but I also don't want to lose myself in the relationship.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Fake. I would never call my grillfien "overly dominant." There's no such thing. Elaine completely dominates me, and I love every minute of it. I just love being put in my place by a truly superior being, my owner, Elaine.

I've had it up to my ears with being impersonated on these boards. John Mosley needs to fix this bug immediately. I would never say any of these things, at least not in public. My private information is being leaked which constitutes a violation of US state and federal law, and a violation of the forum's global rules.
