Great apes are terrifying in ways no other animal even comes close to achieving.
Chimpanzees apparently have better short and long term memory than humans.
They are also constantly engaged in total war participating in ancient feuds reserved exclusively for religious zealots among humans.
Which makes me think that chimpanzees might have something analogous to religion but instead of needing holy texts to remember the most traumatizing things, it is memorized instinctually.
Gorillas are the strongest.
Bonobos are the most promiscuous.
Orangutans have the greatest sexual dimorphism.
What continues to perplex me about humans is that this should be instructive as to what the strengths of humanity are.
As if these are the component elements to the success of humanity.
If you were to have a great ape that managed to do all of these things they would have books, rifles, porn and identity.
Is that all humans are? The combination of all other successful great apes.
Or perhaps we have books, rifles, porn and identity so that we aren't naturally like our cousins.
Books weaken our memory, rifles allow us to have weaker arms, porn weakens our sex drive and identity weakens sexual attraction.
Identity allows people with inferior natural sexual dimorphism (smol pp/titty) to be seen as attractive. Someone valued for qualities other than their genitals.
To survive as a human you must read many books, have many weapons, watch lots of porn and be as identifiable as possible.
The most terrifying or foolish thing for a human to do would then be to have a poor education, few weapons, promiscuity and anonymity.
They would only be able to survive human society by becoming like all of the other great apes at the same time.
A subgroup of humanity which is the wild man.
Is the wild man necessary? Is he some kind of human ideal? I can't figure it out.
The problem here is that you're making flawed core assumptions about humanity. That's why you're confused and are unable to figure anything out. Human beings are not simply another species of ape, that is quite evident to any rational, logical person. And that's just it, logic and reason, key things which no animal on this Earth possesses. You're also trying to create meaning out of meaninglessness. You're trying to derive some kind of "natural law" and then apply it to human beings, which is once again fundamentally flawed thinking.
False. You are a pysop by feds to try to lure Geteso users into engaging in minor grooming.

I'm really not concerned with the rationality or lackthereof in other animals.
Some biological traits will result in different advantages.
It seems like you're opposed to the idea of creating models of behavior.
The justification for opposition being that you believe there cannot be any model for humans because we somehow transcend the physical world not needing to be concerned with reproduction, hormones, violence or trauma because we can think rationally.
I can't really argue with that because it seems as though I would be trying to tell a being of pure rationality that has been able to relieve themselves of human suffering that they actually have to remember to suffer and die.
Perhaps you don't have to and I don't want to be dismissive of that.
